The Easy GUI Controller Board is configurable to any size LCD, up to full VGA resolution (640x480). Just add an LCD and your user input device! The Easy GUI controller board was designed to utilize the following crystal frequencies: 10Mhz, 12Mhz, 16Mhz, and 20Mhz. By default, the controller board ships with a 16Mhz crystal. The Easy GUI controller board can be interfaced to various LCD's via the LCD interface connector, which is made up of an 18 pin header.
Amulet's Easy GUI Controller chip is a combination LCD controller chip and a user interface chip. Finally, there is no longer a need for complex code to draw each pixel on an LCD. The chip renders GUI pages containing graphic images, Amulet Widgets, and other UI objects directly to the LCD.
The Amulet development software CD contains the Amulet HTML Compiler, an online documentation manual, the latest Amulet operating system and a 45-day trial of Namo Web Editor. Using the provided Namo Web Editor, or any other HTML editor, you can create an HTML based Graphical User Interface (GUI).
